I was not disappointed at all with this book. I enjoyed reading the story from Christian's point of view, understanding him better, and watching him grow. I think there is a lot he still needs to address with Ana, but he does grow and change a lot throughout the book. I think by the end of the book he is a better person than he started out being, and am looking forward to reading more from his perspective.
While after watching the movie I thought Christian was a complete ass, I actually like him after reading Grey. I find Christian to be a very complex individual and character, and enjoy the insight into his thoughts and motives. I am hoping that E.L. James will rewrite Darker and Freed from Christian's point of view.
